Are some people made for greatness or does every person have a chance of leaving his/her mark on the world?

I was born a little ****, I still am a little ****. I work hard in school, I'm pretty clever, but that's about it. I have no talents, nothing great about me, just nothing interesting...I find existence pointless since I have no way of leaving my imprint on the world...I have the will but not the means. So, in your opinion, are some people just meant for greatness while others are meant to carry out their pointless lives until death liberates them?
