Does logic exist or is that just our imagination at work?

We can suppose external things exist. Logic is a way of thinking and therefore a process. I expect a philosopher could make a life's work out debating whether processes 'exist' or not. In the end it's just a characteristic action performed by our brain. Since that pretty much covers what it actually is, the debate is really yet another attempt to get at the meaning of words like 'exist'. And since words are just another characteristic action performed by our brain, we may as well have bailed out earlier and gone down the pub instead.
