How to improve BBQ flame?

I bought a mini bbq this year. The weber Q-200 Series. Its really nice and convenient but the flame isn't as stron as I thought. Anything I can do to make a bigger or stronger flame? It uses a mini propane tank. Also I use lava rocks to distribue an equal amout of heat and help keep the grease out.
