Why can't people understand that I really am in love?

I'm in the same exact situation. It's almost scary how much alike our stories are! To me, I just ignore what everyone else says because all that matters is what's between me and my partner. Whenever someone tries to say something about my boyfriend, I tell them to stfu because they don't know what we've been though, or what kind of person he is, or how we feel about each other so they can't judge. They are jealous they don't have the love we have with our boyfriends. That's just the way I feel about it. :] Good luck with all that!
