Should we get points for reporting people?

There are some very mean and nasty people on here that spend all day insulting, speading mischief, creating conflict, and just plain hating. I have dedicated this account to reporting those people. It's not an easy or well liked job but hey, somebody's got to do it. Shouldn't we get like 15 points for a valid report against a community rules violator? If you think so, answer the question and I will submit the results to the moderators.
